I guess we're down to the Saltzman/Broccoli franchise (with which most of us are probably the most familiar).
I don't think you could count Ian Fleming with the actors which have been mentioned... although he created the character and wrote all those stories, he didn't actually portray our well-known hero... did he?

By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Thu 16/01/03 14:59:37 GMT Yes...I was well aware of the Barry Nelson and David Niven portrayals too...but I figured if I threw those names into the mix it would cause people to get even more confused and irate if I classified Connery as number 2...cos most people associate Connery as the first famously known Bond.
If you want to get really technical you could even add another name, Ian Fleming himself....cos he always felt that "he" was Bond and was writing about a glorified version of himself.

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Thu 16/01/03 07:29:34 GMT Let's not forget "Casino Royale"... technically speaking, it puts David Niven into the mix also!

By Shannon - Wed 15/01/03 17:49:58 GMT if you want to get "very" technical... your clue is actually wrong, unless you going by "theatrical movies" only. The first bond was actually Barry Nelson who played "Jimmy" Bond.
But if your going with MGM based movies, then its correct, but if you go with all bond films/productions, its incorrect.

By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Wed 15/01/03 06:53:59 GMT Website: http://underwaterflorida.homestead.com/grotto.html Firstly.....to all those who are getting cheesed off...just be patient...if you don't like to play games, then just email one of those people who got the answer and they can give you the answer. For anybody who would like a further clue...just think of 8 numbers, 4 for each actor...the 4 numbers being the role they played and the order in which they played it.
As for the location for that shoot...I lied....that is not really a public park where you can get away with shooting stuff like that. This is a privately owned Spring in Central Florida, called BLUE GROTTO SPRINGS. See this url for the location..

It is a 30,000 year old Spring that is often used by divers. You can gain entry to the park for the day....but they will also shut the place down and you can book the entire place to yourself for film productions if you wish to make movies there. We rented the entire park for the day (you can rent the entire place for $1500 for the day and then they close the gates and do not let anybody else in, plus you get filming rights too).
Yes...the water is crystal clear...thats why we rented it...we spent several days and shot several other videos there...including a ghost story about an underwater ghost, and another video called "The Girl From Atlantis" that we have not edited yet. The springs are amazing to swim in...but several hundred feet deep, so for experienced divers only. The place is often rented out for nudist conventions on weekends too...so the owners have just about seen everything going on at that place.
The upside is....you get awesome underwater shots cos the water is so clear....but the downside is...the spring water is quite chilly...so the girls cannot last more than 20 mins at a time before they need to come out and get warmed up...so you need to bring flasks of hot coffee and plenty of warm towels for the girls.

By FountainFrolic - FntnFrolic@aol.com Wed 15/01/03 05:01:16 GMT Thanks MK, for this one and ALL you do!
I'm curious as to the location of this - you mentioned a lagoon at a park I know. The water is SO clear, and the complete flight of steps down into the water is rather unique. Mind sharing where it is?

In reply to Message (1780) new Streaming video - new puzzle game
By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Mon 13/01/03 12:57:06 GMT OK...so I will make things real easy for you this time...cos many folks had trouble knowing what "mydomain" was or what the file extensions were....so I am gonna give you all that info this time...and you only have to solve the middle part of the puzzle ...and the answer this time is...all in numbers...i.e. numbers only ...
Here is the cryptic url
http://www.wamtec.com/seanconneryrogermoore.wmv
For info, this is a 9 minute clip (24 megs), and the content is along the same theme as that Russian music video by T.A.T.U. that you have all been raving about...i.e. wet schoolgirls (adult models). In this case..this is a video shoot I did with 5 of our models dressed in schoolgirl uniforms, playing in a lagoon at a park (we raised a few eyebrows when we shot this one).
If you like the TATU music video..this one's for you...otherwise skip it if you don't like school uniforms.
