I know that when you do laundry, cold water is best to wash clothes in, but when I am photographing a model in a tub, she can adjust the water temp to her whatever she wants. =) |

By Anonymous - Mon 26/12/11 19:42:52 GMT Thank you Edwin. I had a model go into a bathtub in converse and jeans and it did darken the water, weird. Is the temperature of the water a significant factor? Do you shoot your models in cold or warm water? |

By EdR - Mon 26/12/11 04:13:36 GMT Website: www.asplashofglamour.com Sometimes clothes and shoes contain dyes that run when wet which is what colors or clouds up the water. You can either have the models wear higher quality clothes and shoes which the dyes do not run. Use them so often that the dyes are washed out or use clothes and shoes which contain no dyes at all

By Anonymous - Sun 25/12/11 18:16:04 GMT I have a question for producers or any photographers who shoot models clothed in bathtubs. How do you keep the water from getting dark? Especially if the model is wearing shoes. For example in the wetlook hunter pictures, the girls wear the same shoes and clothes they wore on the street, but the water doesnt get cloudy when they step into the bathtubs. What is the trick? |
